The 8XX-PI is not a standalone valve — it is a pop indicator option that can be added to any 800, 801, 803 and other 8-series Cyrus Shank safety relief valve. When the relief valve opens (pops), the indicator provides a clear, at-a-glance visual signal that an over-pressure event has occurred, so the valve can be inspected and serviced.
How it works
The pop indicator is specified as an option when ordering a compatible relief valve. To add a pop indicator to a valve, request a quote and note the base valve model you would like it fitted to, and our team will configure the correct assembly.
